The Calling

The Calling

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Each night

I pray to see you dear

within your crown of wonder

I dawn my gown

and wait for thee

amongst the leaves

and thunder.

The mighty gail

kicks up the sail

of my pleats

within the wind

and anything

can come to pass

if only you could hear my song

of longing and desire.

A siren 'No'

for I will let no harm

fall upon you

but keep you safe

in my embrace

each evening and each morn.

And my sweet babe

whether with me now

or out amongst the flowers

shall learn our ways

and Love the Earth

for all she's worth

the Moon with her deep caress

and the Sun's great warmth and power.

A family

all are we

working closely together

let no harm come

thy will be done

amongst the Ones

that carry the Light

forever.

Our sight is might

beyond the range

of those that walk among us

but sees deeper still

unto thy will

of One and all

we hear your call

O Lord and Goddess

we do your bidding.

We hope and pray

everyday

that nature remains Supreme

and in our dreams

you lead the way

with pure Love lasting everafter.

Very earthy and existential; I enjoyed the rhyme and steady cadence. Dreamy words...the first stanza was my absolute favorite.

Thank you Siddartha for the send.

beyond the beauty of the structure and flow, this reveals a wonderful soul.
One who deeply understands, that all truth resides in Nature.

Blessings of Your choosings Always, David
