I Adore Thee

I Adore Thee

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

The sweet aromatherapy
of your cologne
embraces me
sandalwood so sublime
to bring sweet love to my mind
although your scent
left all alone
within your pheremones
enough, I am blessed
with the caress
the touch
of your intoxicating
scent of you
that leaves me wanting more
each day-

or the sweat upon your brow
the taste of salt upon your lip
is heaven sent-

only you have this power over me
whether dressed in aromas,
bare or even driven hot
in the midnight air
I seek your manly smell
I know so well
as without it I am not pleased
you bring me to my knees
in the kind-hearted breeze
that lifts your scent upon me
drowning me in memories
of past dreams we have shared
so deeply-

as well as avenues that we have
yet to take
but within the kind embrace
of your sweet face
and scent,
I adore thee.

A beautiful song of love... romantic and sensuous in the nicest possible way... with heady aromas and the taste of salt.... delicious
