Day Break Guardian

Alice wakes up from a coma only to enter a completly new world full of dark secrets, a forbidden romace, and of course the humor that life seems to weave into the coldest, darkest days.

 

Daybreak Guardians, Chapter 1 Death sucks.

All my life I have known that I was going to die but I never thought it would be so soon. I had only turned 16 yesterday and was going to have the best school year of my life, getting the jock boyfriend everyone wants and being the surfer-star in the academy that I am enrolled in currently. A car crash would quickly end this for me though simply because I had come from a long line of pure breed guardians and my brother currently was the apprentice and would call on me to assist him.

 

After awhile being in a coma sucks, when you can hear and see people around you its ok. When you can feel the people around you that’s when it gets really creepy. All of this started to happen when I was leaving a party driving home a couple of people because I’m the only one with enough brains to not drink. After I dropped off my other friends Kyle and Matt were the only ones still in the car. Kyle is the school star quarter back and everyone loves him.  I have, or at least had a huge crush on him. He lean over and kisses me as I was turning the corner, Groves corner to be exact. Groves’s corner is famous for car crashed because of the fact that it is a very sharp turn. As he kissed me a large semi-truck was also turning the corner and we hit. Matt flew out the window and Kyle hit the windshield. I on the other hand hit the steering wheel and was knocked unconscious

 

That is all I know and that is how I ended up on a hospital bed. At first I could hear a person around me which is normal, but after a while I could feel them next to me. About two weeks after the accident I can fully leave me body and watch the people around me. As far as I know that is not normal. I had always known that I would be called by my brother; I just never thought that it would be this soon. As time went the doctor and my adopted parents talked and came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t live. So, they pulled the plug. I watched as I slowly died.
