A Toast To Christmas

A Toast To Christmas

A Poem by Sianna Reader
"

Getting in the festive mood. :)

"

Peace on earth, it’s time to toast,
The time of year, we love the most,
We are warm, the nights are cold,
Let’s share a thought for young and old.

Let’s toast my friends, good will to all men,
That lovely feeling is here again,
There are carols to sing, laughs to be had,
Remember the Christ child, remember, be glad.

Oh Silent night, the trees are aglow,
Lovers are settled, ‘neath mistletoe,
Children are waiting, counting each day,
Praying they’ll see that ruby red sleigh.

Love is among us, the angels are singing,
Peace be within us, the church bells are ringing,
Warmth is between us, it shines with delight,
So merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.
