Heartbroken Youth

Heartbroken Youth

A Poem by Sianna Reader

Heartbroken Youth

Heartbroken youth, keep your head high,
Don’t hide all that pain, its okay to cry,
The world is so big but don’t hide your face,
You just need to find your own little place,

Heartbroken youth, so longing for life,
The pain you’re feeling cuts like a knife,
But if you’re an adult you’ll feel so much more,
The world when you’re older is like a locked door,

Heartbroken youth, hold on to your child,
The part of you which is naive and mild,
Be simple; be youthful as long as you can,
Too soon you’ll grow up, into a man

I'm not entirely sure where this poem even came from, it was just there in my mind and I had to write it. Enjoy, please. xxx

Beautiful Sianna

Even though you are a grown up and reads this, then you are reminded to remember your inner child (I don't know if it's called that in English?)

With love,

Maria
