Monsters WithinA Poem by Sia BloodAnother AssignmentMOnsters Within I was standing in the mirror, Soaked in their blood, Smiling at the sight, as if I couldn’t be happier. I stood alone, Admiring my blood soaked blade, The bodies were thrown everywhere, Across the blood stained floor. I can still hear their screams, Spilling through a frame that was shattered, Shattered like their life, A once open door now shut. Though I murdered many, I refuse to hide, For the bodies that were laid everywhere, Were monsters from within. © 2015 Sia Blood |
