Lost Girl

She sits there alone among a group of strangers,

A conversation, echoing in an empty mind,

The place is familiar but something’s not right,

A smile revealing a secret so strong,

She gets up to use the restroom.

Just like that the girl is gone forever,

Someone who noticed the girl was gone,

Got up and went looking for her,

However that person did not expect to find,

That girl hanging there like a rag-doll.

A lonely girl who was filled with smiles,

And laughter is now gone,

No one knew and no one bothered to ask,

If she was OK and because of that,

In a few seconds a life was lost.
