Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by Sia Blood
"

My friend Sam gave me an assignment, this is the turn out.

"

Forbidden Love

Through the bedroom door,

The moonlight covers her skin,

Like how he used to before they were torn apart,

Falling on her like a shield of his love.

The girl by his side stirs,

As if she knows what he’s thinking of,

His mind goes to her,

Lying silently in that lonely bed.

On the night that they were torn apart forever,

Remembering their love was a wave of sorrow,

He is longing to hold her again,

As the tears make their way to his skin.

He closes his eyes and dreams,

Of the nights they we together and in love,

But when he wakes he will see she is not there,

Instead it is a different girl.

Who he loves,

But it is a different love,

Than the love he has for HER,

He kisses the girl and leaves.

He goes on another day,

Wishing he could touch her,

Even if it’s for a second,

But instead he sees her and smiles.

Then he walks away,

And for the last time.

He walks far away,

Until all that he sees… is darkness.
