SOURCE OF ME

This is my story. This is the reason why I am the way I am.

                     
There lived two beings I couldn't ever hate.
Connected by blood we were,
and capable of luring love from my heart without effort.
Their warm hugs and kisses ignited nothing but happiness,
making me feel infinite with their simple caress.

Cried on their shoulder, followed by reassurance.
Feelings I thought not possible.
But here I am, in no trance
feeling lucky of the incredible.

Showered with gifts, but not greater than their affection.
Encouraged to be the best, I lived in determination.
Tripping up, but always offered a second chance
even if not worthy of such a cause.

Their presence, much more than a powerful drug,
priceless and very rare.
Ecstasy and positivity like I've never felt before,
radiated and thrived in the air.

My source of happiness, they were.
Countless times the words of love escaped our lips.
How could I ever express my feelings that had no end?
How could I ever show my gratitude when I don't know where to begin?

My inspiration, my happiness, and my driving force.
My universe, my breath and my life.
My magnificent brothers, 
the only two human beings that ever really mattered.
You evoke in me that which is not possible.
The ultimate euphoria that lives in heaven and heaven only.

Author's Note

This is dedicated to my awesome brothers, although I have not shown it to them.
I love you both infinity times infinity..

PS. This is the first poem I've ever written. I hope you like it!

There is nothing like a brotherly or sisterly love. To have that special connection or Bond is a special thing to have. You have wrote a really loving poem here which expresses that feeling so perfectly.

I have to admit, I'm pretty jealous of the way you've described your brothers. I have many siblings & there's no closeness or caring between us, due to a broken & abusive childhood. Most of the time I don't have the courage to imagine how it might be to have amazing family members . . . but here you've shown us with lots of good details & reasons why your brothers have helped shape you into a strong & articulate person. Good job! I hope these bonds are never broken in your life!

I loved most of this. I really felt all the emotions and all the love. Your brothers obviously mean allot to you :)
Just in some parts of the poem like lets say this part:
Ecstasy and positivity like I've never felt before.
Ecstasy? doesn't seem like a suitable word to use when talking about brothers. Although honestly that's just my opinion.
I still really loved this poem, its really from deep in your heart and its wonderful.
Love really is priceless :)
