You and I

You and I

A Poem by Shyla khan

Dark sky, home's shining stars.
Dull shell, unveils my scars.
My heart heavy, paces lame.
And blocked mind, works the same.

Your absence, putting me in haze.
These sparky stars, unfurled in praise.
These memories, setting me ablaze.
These gleam nights, craving me in vase.

Frozen feelings, finding new souls.
Tired doves, piercing wrecked owls.
One more life, crying for never-ending pain
And streaked funerals, are again going to strain.

Now let this moon now erase...
Our destinies, which were never meant to raise.
These glitzy promises, are always supposed to fade.
You and I alike the two naturalists, the brightest sun and the darkest moon which can never communicate.
