LET IT GO

LET IT GO

A Poem by Shyla khan

You were a croon of my favorite melody,
A swore of my pious deity.

You were a scene of my cusp shoreline,
A gelatin of my pudding lifeline.

You were a stone of my emerald and sapphire,
A nod of my cherished daydream.

You were the palmtrees of my coastal cores,
A ice to my painful sores.

You were everything from my dusk till dawn,
but your unseen Tornado wasn't able to reduce my bloodshot caused by sawn.
