Chapter nine: The day has comeA Chapter by ThoughtsofShyann The day is finally here and everyone is getting ready but there is something being kept from Roslyn that she will soon find out. Francis Point of View Today was the day we had anticipated the day we all longed for the day that could be the end and yet we still tried to make this seem like more of a test then an event. I looked down at Ariel who was cuddled under my arm she would always pretend to be sleep and it was rather odd to me. She did at times convince me she was sleeping. "Boo!" Ariel yelled I looked at her UN-amused, then she frowned while getting out of bed I grabbed her. "No! Ariel I am sorry I am just ency at the moment." She laid back in bed and kissed me. "Love, what time is it?" She asked as her hair covered her face. "6 a.m. Do you want to go for a early hunt? They are coming at 1 in the afternoon. " I said while stroking my hands through her hair. It was so soft like feather and it just made me feel like I gave her the comfort she needed right now. I know she did not want to admit it but she was more nervous than all of us. "No thanks Darling, I am going to wake up Roslyn so that she can eat I don't want the scent of food to linger." She kissed me and smiled. "Will you come hunt today?" I was worried I didn't like the fact that she didn't really hunt and I didn't want her to be famished. "Okay I will go when she has her meal." I was not convinced. "I will go with you." She groaned and left the room. I got out of bed and prepared my attire for the day, I also got out Ariel's dress. I was wearing a black suit and a not so dressy shirt I didn't want to make anything look suspicious. Ariel was wearing a simple dress it was pale pink with a lace flower at the bottom tips, it flowed and it was not to long. It was something she would normally wear among-st other vampires. And I knew she would look amazing in it. I was going to get dresses but I realized I needed to hunt so I went down stairs to see if Roslyn started to eat. "Good morning." Allison said while making eggs for Roslyn. "Good morning everyone." I got good morning replies. Everyone was in the kitchen and every one but Allison looked worried I assumed she felt if she didn't show fear neither would we but that was not the case. "Has everyone hunted?" Micheal asked. "No me and Ariel have to go hunting." "Well hurry we all have to look are best and make sure we have everything in place." I glanced over at Ariel she rolled her eyes and then smiled. "Alright,alright. Come on lover boy let go hunting." She said while smiling with one hand reaching for me. Then we ran off to the woods. Once we where very deep into the woods I decided that we didn't need to run any more. So I started to walk plus I really just wanted attention from my beautiful girlfriend!. Which of course I got, Ariel turned around and looked at me puzzled. "What's wrong Francis?" She was now right in front of me, I know it was impossible but I could feel my heart racing. "Nothing is wrong." "Then why did you stop?" I pulled her close one hand wrapping around her waist and the other placed softly on her cheek. I stared at look deeply into her eyes, and kissed her. Everything that was going on slowly just vanished, and all that was on my mind was her. Her soft pink lips pressed against mine send chills all throughout my body. Our lips separated but we where still just as close. "I love you." I said with most sincerity. "I love you." We both ran off to hunt, the hunt was not that long but that's because the animals really didn't put up a fight. We finally got back home and I could hear everyone getting ready so we decided to go get ready I was in our room and Ariel went to go help Allison with Roslyn. Once I was fully dressed I looked at my self I had my tux on but I looked very casual. My hair slicked all the way back, I looked more pale than usual and I felt like my old self again. I went to go check on Micheal, we had not talked alone for a while. When I went in the room he was putting on his tie. "Hey." I said a bit silently. "Francis come in." I went in and sat on the closest chair. "Are you nervous Micheal?" Like I had to ask. "No, but what is nerve wrecking is the fact that we have lived together for so long and you have yet to master how to tie you tie." I laughed and walked toward him a bit embarrassed. "I guess my dad never taught me correctly." "As your father I am appalled." We both laughed. "Tell me is today going to end well." "If I knew that maybe I could tie your tie right. Tell me how do you feel about Ariel?" He went to his closet and got one of his and put it on me. The question was a undesirable question so I answered it as best as I possibly could. "I love her." Micheal smiled. "So I imagine you intend on courting her yes?" "Yes, I am giving her my mothers ring." "Nice to see you two finally come together and patch things up I was wondering when it was going to happen." "You knew this was going to happen?" He smirked. "Well I would be lying if I said I didn't. Lets go down stairs I have a feeling we should have smoothies before they arrive gives us an excuse not to hunt." I nodded we went down stairs and made the smoothies we both confessed or anxious and nervous await for Cassius and his family's arrival. We went to the living room sat down and wait for the girls who seemed to take up more time than a average teenage girl. Micheal and I lifted our heads at te sounds of foot steps coming down the stairs. First Allison; She was looking lovely. Her hair was straighten and b***h black wich really made her golden brown eyes stick out. She was wearing red bold lipstick soft light pink blush hardly noticeable and a long black dress. With these nice black heels. Micheal stood up the minute he seen her fixing his shirt he seemed more nervous then ever. But the look in his eyes was as if he was falling in love all over again. My heart stopped when I seen the first black flat hit the floor. I knew exactly who it was. She was probably the only girl who hated wearing heels. Her white laced dressed complimented her peach lips perfectly. Her golden brown hair was pulled back with curls and she was the most beautiful-est women I have ever laid my eyes upon. I blinked and in a instant she was before me holding my hand. "You look breathe taking." Those where the only words that could come out. "As do you." Looking up and this time every one did we noticed the stunning Roslyn. Her dress seemed perfect for the occasion. It was red red laced at the top till it hit the waist line and silken down. She had on red bold lip stick and blush. Her hair was straight with bangs she looked like a new vampire. Her eyes where red, and I could no longer smell her blood and that just made me assume she had no heart beat. I nearly was in shock till I remembered they got her contacts which where extremely realistic and the perfume which made the scent of a human disappear and once the scent was gone so was the heart beat. This could work I thought to my self this will work. "You look amazing Roslyn." Everyone agreed. "Thanks. Can I ask something?" "Yes, what is it dear?" Allison responded. "Why are we so dressed up?" Every one looked at each other, because we where hiding something that could change her mind completely. Allison reached out her hand to Roslyn and told her to have a seat. "One thing we forgot to tell you is when Cassius and his family come over we go to a vampire ball."
