weA Poem by ShyTigerchild soldiers, sex slaves.Dust is stamped out, by a thousand weeds, breaking earth, each one green, venomous, disguised, a reflection of me. They are a malignant growth 20 0dd years in the making, the root underground, protected. each VaLUe they steal, transform, they feed their appetites... spread your legs, load the gun little one. hope is a malevolent force, pour pour water wet my tracks, stamp the dust out. what am I but a grain, what are we but a collection, watch us rise, choke the air, how does one soul die a thousand times? we scream, look around us, fat flies feasting... we scream, mirrors crash, shards flying. landing sinking... it’s us reflected.
do you hear that sound? Its skin through worn leather kissing earth. at night listen for this sound close our eyes, get familiar with the dark.
spread your legs, load your guns little ones.
