Schizophrenic pumpkin spice

Schizophrenic pumpkin spice

A Chapter by Shy Joe

Black cats and voodoo dolls
Alter my dimension
Splitting me into layers
As I slide through the colors
Red, brown, and yellow
A corn maze of the season

Carving my soul
Playing peek-a-boo with Jack
And his Lantern
Spiced up smell
From the depths, of pumpkin pie hell

There is no rhythm
Nor any rhyme
For October has altered
My state of mind

A different touch on the Fall/Autumn.. its meanings for and to you. A singalong of colours, scents and sights. No need for sameness, just your own thoughts and happiness.. perhaps. But then again, 'From the depths, of pumpkin pie hell' - not as keen as seemed!.
