What am I doing?

When I started school, my intentions were to become a wind turbine technician, no lie. I have a passion for renewable energy. I chose wind tech for the money as they make the most.
I chose greed. I chose poorly. Maybe it's because I'm in my mid-thirties, but it only took one semester to realize I made a bad choice. Although I do have a love for renewable energy, I would have been miserable working as a Turbine Technician. I guess since I have sobered up a little bit I now realize happiness is worth way more than money.
Now I'm taking geospatial technology courses. GIS techs don't make as much but I am able to use my mind and creativity to create and design 3d maps and images. I guess what I'm getting at it's just do whatever the hell makes you happy. Money should be second or last.

God staying sober is so hard.
