Never Wake Up

Never Wake Up

A Chapter by Shy Joe
"

What face?

"
Numbed in a sleeping slumber
A motion picture now arises
Chemical thoughts dance in your head
Hallucinogenic dreams are being shed
Now barks the tattered facts
Reality takes a seat in the back

Rippled disseminate tunnels in time
Colors fascinate all around
A house made out of wool
A sweater made out of wood
Sheep's lumber jacking....
This must be your second childhood

candied sober hippies dream

happiness only you can see
a licked up smile
self made delusions

Wonderlands play ground
Raffled off hopes of a tomorrows day

To wake up would be a sin
wake up...and begin this s**t again.....

Author's Note

Shy Joe
When I lie in bed and just think about what will go through my head when I dream, I pray for adventure. I pray to wake up and not think about alcohol and reflect on the ripped up reality that was bestowed on me the night before.

If I do dream it must not be that interesting. As soon as I sleep, I am awake....into the shower I go....bathed in reality.
