Growing up...

A friend of mine wrote this on Facebook.  It's not mine but I want to keep it cause I like it:


Upon waking this morning, I had a feeling that I would almost go so far as to use the word excitement to describe. This excitement was due to the fact that the new washing machine I bought on black Friday should be available to be picked up today. After realizing the source of the excitement, I almost immediately became disappointed. Disappointed that I am so deep into adulthood that a new washing machine can evoke such feelings of excitement...

Well, when I was a kid, I hated naps and spankings. Now that I'm an adult, I cannot say that anymore. I don't know what that has to do with washing machines.... it just kind of came to mind.
