Dreamland

Dreamland

A Poem by Shuvadip Mallik

Glows all over the road,
Breezes of the wind
Makes me shiver,,,
From the core
I fell in love from the first day
Ohh, my..
Love at first sight.

It gave me the time that I have
It grew me up to be me
Every moment I feel
For an eternity.

Some things never fade away
Some goes out of reach too fast
Some we can never forget
Some we try not to remember.

But I do know
This is what all I know
This has gave me the greatest show
If they ask if I want to leave?
I gotta say noo.

This time,,
This life
Full of love
Full of shine..
All the darkness fade behind.

So when I go to bed,
I open up my mind.
All things are bright and beautiful
So full of life.. So delightful
I so want to live there,, with all the cool.

But, can't stay because time wakes me up
Makes me stand and push forward
I leave asses behind and fly away.
Oh, I leave my dreamland

As your poem illustrates, our "dreamland" is, paradoxically, derived from pain, the sharpest contrast from the life we seek. You convey traces of pain and loneliness, but mostly hope. You also artfully express strength and determination, as I read "and fly away," telling the reader to move on, rise above, and soar. Nice work.

You've to leave the dreamland...as you can't bring that on real...if you can might...then it won't be called dreamland anymore....
All the elaboration of the miraculous place is great to read...thanks for sharing!
