![]() Oyster PearlsA Poem by John F
Tonight
We will slip through moonlight streams To be together. Where there is No time nor distance To submit our bodies To sweet decay. No turbulence beneath The offbeat waves of our astral longing To disturb our happiness. Nor a world outside Waiting to disturb Our unique rhythms With eternal sadness. Here everything Falls weightlessly towards our hearts, Levered open like conjoined oyster shells. And we are as one again, Siamese pearls secreting together Under the sound of silence The stars have preserved Through the day for us. © 2025 John FReviews
