This Undream of Death

In this undream of death,

I have dared to dream you.

With my own breath
I will unbreathe the world
and give it to you.

I will carry you through the stillness
Of reality and miracle colliding,
Like an angel anchored to a stone.

Like a plant carefully taken out the greenhouse,
so it can die anew in perfect breathlessness.
