These Cosmic Oceans

Oh cosmic ocean,
You existed before us,
And yet she created your chaos!

She was the under-surface force,
Pulling my mind down into the watery abyss,

And with me, lured the earth and heavens above!

She sighed to separate all order and disorder,
Spoke to tear apart the upper and lower bounds of beauty.

She filled the entire universe with her presence,
And still I could not see, that she was
The violation of measure to bring balance back
To the treacherous waters of my heart.
