Death Moon Blues

Death Moon Blues

A Poem by I Shred This Cabbage
"

R.

"
The next full moon
Will be Tuesday morning

Almanac sunsets
Will rise and fall
In an uncertain heart

High and low tides
Will break unevenly
Across tired memories

We will observe
The uneven spread of stars
Connecting us to here and now

And make astrological signs
From changes in the warm-coloured dust

This poem reflects on the passage of time and the interconnectedness of human experiences with natural cycles, emphasizing how memories and emotions are shaped by the cosmos.
I liked this one, enjoyed reading.
