MALEVOLENCE (The humanity)A Poem by ShraddhaThis is the fourth poem in the Aliferous series. Malevolence is about the humanity in the villain. The hero had begun to lose his mind The villain saw him falling behind If he would run for a few hours more He would outrun the hero for sure He never thought he would be so torn Between freedom and an annoying thorn
He had never seen himself looking for this lath But he found himself retracing his path A heart that everyone thought he had lost Came out of hiding with a vengeance, a cost If the hero caught him he would pay with his life A few painful wounds from a tucked away knife
He saw the shiny things as he approached the fiend He shivered slightly as the hero’s wounds he cleaned His precious stack of medicines he handed over Along with his very lucky four leaf clover As before his chance of survival looked less than slim And the hero needed a little more luck tha]’n him
He bought him a little time till his people could arrive After all it was not that long and rough a drive And slowly the villain started to back away He was not going to be dumb enough to stay And the villain became the hero of the hero’s story And the hero gave up his chase and his glory.
