The year of revenge

Yeah I'll be the first to admit
Revenge feels nice.
But then I remember my therapist telling me "its never okay to hurt others.
And then it doesn't.
So maybe everyone lies
Maybe revenge isn't that sweet
It tastes sour in my mouth
So I try my best to spit it out
Darling don't you have a single doubt
That I don't think of you
But just like my revenge,
You always leave a sour taste in my mouth.
