The waters fine

If you were a river,
I would drown myself in you.
Jump head first into the rapids,
Taking on the darkness in your head.
Find the deepest depth
And let myself be completely submerged in you.
Just to get in a feel the fast paced current
Feel the cold
Let myself float maybe
Float somewhere in between your dreams and thoughts
Let you take me through prettiest and the scariest of the river
But ive been thinking, what if you wash me up?
And some old river bed will shelter what's left of me.
The hypothermic waters can kill
It won't kill me
But I'll just lay there.
Until I decide to jump back in.
