This old place is more than empty memories

A Story by But?shouldyouneedus?

Driving through this old town reminds me of my papa and I sitting in the parking lot of Home Depot listening to old Christmas tunes on his black trucks poor radio, I loved that truck and it's red leather seats. It was a older beat up model but I was still devastated when he sold it. I wanted to hear Rudolf the red nosed reindeer and so we decided to call in the station. We just moved here so hearing on the radio station "lexi from Londonderry" felt weird. It was new. Just as new as when we decided to leave this place. It seemed like a dream come true at the time. Look how far I've come. Without moments like that I wouldn't be who I am today. The little things in life like driving through this old town remind me of this.
