Educating MeA Poem by R. Gene MacDonaldThis is a poem about my college education. In many ways I am fearful the worries of a lifetime in my back pocket They follow me around whisper in my sleep foster my insecurities blemish my vision I am fearful I am almost done I am on the run I am near the end
Images always in my head of exploding happiness dying hope all good things coming to an end all because I am fearful of Who I am What I can do What I will do
This is it the end of an era Can I stomp' Uncertainty into the ground into lost memories Can I Will I here I go eyes up feet forward into the Sunset or maybe God willing into the sunrise.
