Confession

Confession

A Poem by R. Gene MacDonald
"

A poem about the art of confession.

"

This is the sand,

the helpless animals on the floor of the sea.

This is the last time I drank,

the last time I lost control,

the last time my heart fell to the floor.

The last time I wondered,

with unabated mind,

hidden hands,

the last time I wondered,

how high up heaven's gate lay.

This is

Confession.

The art of ripping out your insides

and indulging in gulity pleasure.

^.^
I love this metaphor...
This has really good rhythm and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who only capitalizes at the beginning of sentences.
Good write!
