Rainbow On a Cloudy DayA Poem by Colton BoseA poem about hope and beauty
Even on a cloudy day A rainbow can still shine through With all its beauty still intact And all it’s radiance still torrent
The sky may be overcast With continuing darkening shades of gray And it may very well seem That more rain is on its way
The wind may be blowing fierce Or it may be a tranquil breeze In the morning or in the evening Or maybe even in the afternoon
It may very well get one down The lack of sunshine and luminosity Seeming to suggest that entire day Is lost in a curtain of mundane gloom
But even in such dismal conditions One should always note that Such an occurrence is only natural And only a temporary annoyance
But even though a clock of gray May have engulfed any given day There is still a probable chance Of seeing of one the sun’s rays
No matter how dreadful it may seem Remember that there’s beauty behind those clouds And sooner or later the gray will go away And the striking sun will revisit the day
Yes, even on a cloudy day A rainbow can still shine through And I know this is for certain Because there exists someone like you © 2009 Colton BoseAuthor's Note
