Alone Again

Alone Again

A Poem by Liam Riley

You kept my secrets
Like a diary
A blur of friendship
With such beauty

You were my second half
My partner in crime
We would do everything
Friends for a lifetime

But then my past
Come over to visit
And tore you from me
Like a loved bullet

It took the ones I loved
Took them far away
Enough to hate me
Forever I say

Until you notice
That I am no longer there
You will be under the spell
Like you just don't care

I'll wait your return
Though I do not know when
The past is unpredictable
So I am alone, again

I love this, its filled with such emotion and pain.
It flows well, without being to blunt about what you're trying to say.

Although is this a typo? "You will be under he spell
Like you just don't care"

Should it be his?

Just want to help.
