The Duel.

The Duel.

A Poem by ShortBreadInc

Another set of lyrics for the band I'm in.

"

You wont see through my mind,

Leaving all this behind,

You won't reap the sorrow,

Raise your bloody pores to feel my

Brazen touch, entising you to call my bluff,

You know it tastes so nice when their innovations fooling our minds.

Your hand is not worth hating,

Your deeds are not worth doing,

Your words are not worth using,

You're only hurting yourself.

I laugh and watch you tumble,

Your fall is designated,

The pain washes upon you,

And now you've made it.

Masquerade, your colours start to fade,

To blackening the skies,

And the looking glass is all you've lived by.

How would you know how it feels to lose a soul?

A life so close to breath while living so damn close to the edge.

Your hand is not worth hating,

Your deeds are not worth doing,

Your words are not worth using,

You're only hurting yourself.

I laugh and watch you tumble,

Your fall is designated,

The pain washes upon you,

And now you've made it.

Mindless traits like fuel in your blood,

Like lesions painting time,

Like poison sucking dry the life in your eyes.

Feeding fate on lies that can't be spoke,

The rabbits trembling paws is causing perfection in all of your flaws.

Your hand is not worth hating,

Your deeds are not worth doing,

Your words are not worth using,

You're only hurting yourself.

I laugh and watch you tumble,

Your fall is designated,

The pain washes upon you,

And now you've made it.
