The beat my heart skips
The smile across my face
The sudden urge to jump
My wish to close the space

The feel of butterflies
The rainbow after gray
The sunrise in the morning
Beginning each new day

The loveliness I feel inside
The feeling doesn't age
The doodles in my notebooks 
Filling every page

The fact that you're mine
The fact that I'm yours too
The reason for my life
A life to spend with you 

The thoughts 
The dreams
The hopes 
The light 
The fear
The safety
