Time

Time

A Poem by Laura

Time. A rising sun and a fading moon.
Life. Bare trees who lose their leaves too soon,
Silence. Indescribable  and over looked by
Voices. Each so different, a scream or sigh...

People. Amazing and oh so lost,
Winter. Darkness, blandness, bitter frost
Spring. Sunshine, softness, sweet new rain
Summer. Bare feet and arms again.

Autumn. Glorious and great, behold His eyes
Beauty. The virtue of the earth and skies
Sincerity. Tell me you love me with love in your
Eyes. Windows to heaven, higher I sore!

Voices. Whispering into the past before
Silence. That lingering peace, I want more
Life. Too much living to do with just one
Time! A rising moon...and a fading sun.

Really beautiful... I loved your rhyme scheme, your progressions through the season right into an ending that was a variation of your beginning... It gave it a really seamless transition... Almost like the cycle of a year, you could begin this piece and end it over and over again... It is really brilliant!
