I AM PREJUDICEA Poem by ShirleyPOEM
I AM PREJUDICE
bigotry discrimination I disseminate separatism racism and scorn
Jews burning in furnaces slaughtered Armenians a blood-bathed trail of tears
like vermin to filth maggots to carcasses ants to fresh manure
of hatred, repugnance genocide, loathing racial cleansing massacres
to my omega I’m in your schools and your churches
penetrating where you labor
like a mirror bouncing images for the eyes in the hearts upon the brain in the guts
every woman every born and unborn child
black and white red and yellow endless shades of bronze and brown
contempt besieges hatred festers genocide kills
bigotry discrimination I disseminate separatism racism and scorn
