JUDICIAL HOMICIDEA Poem by ShirleyPOEM
JUDICIAL HOMICIDE
separatism defines its borders, in this place of bars and tasers iron and steal I’m hated
imposed confessions and rancid promises for the young but not so brave the intelligent but not so literate
a metaphor guilty as charged beaten and whipped a scapegoat a patsy, a pigeon holed fall guy a stripe clad mark presented to the people on display for an unknown crime
what you know not a blood curling homicide breathe the atrocities of poverty and ignorance die execution style
paralyzes my muscles as potassium chloride ends the flow of blood to my heart
not exonerated in time to explain eulogizing governments and corrupt forces a satanic justice in drag
to attest to coercion and lies in vain I die a forbearing death snuffed out void dignity void pride
