lavishing blush...closer

to a wonderful friend who has become an even closer friend...you know who you is (bad English, I know) :)

I notice he has blossomed toward purlieus

billowing seeds from a voyage across water

scattered collecting until strong and steady

pushed through earth and is suspended

oak grown ravishing...crowned extraordinaire

ruddy skinned with an auburn head dress waving

see he has heard without shifting contrarily

wandered through with hushed feet...a god's secret

wielding laden pouch jingling gems

cradled in the orifice of lessons

distant label of stories...letters to entertain

rendering faint...weak from unscripted candor

and me refraining exhortation

anxious for first leaflet drifting

on fringes clasping harmonious cymbals...

holding sincere subjects cheers

for a teller's decorative filling to transform keys

bejewel an audience's whimsy

a few minutes to vanish inside his proposal

burning for the moment he trembles

however...vertical

I stay...abiding in the wings

Words with such warmth intent can only lift the spirits of the intended... and believe me spirits soared... but ruddy skinned? mmmmm, not sure, that's why it's not a rating of one hundred... smile)))))))))))).
But I will lavish in the moment and take flight of fluttering heart and feel the warmth of such blanketed comfort... snug and tight with the knowing... truly touched... James xx

The ruddy skin was to use something other than tanned or amber (it's a metaphor J). I was tired of using the same old words to describe a warm healthy glow and still sound masculine, however, I will change it if it bothers you. So you took off because of this choice of wordage? Wow, now that surprises me J...that was unexpected to hear from you. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the poem though.

I enjoyed the entirety of the poem... it was just me been my cheeky self, trying to keep things light... no way would I deduct points for creative wordage... but to tell you the truth, I don't understand this form of rating... how does one rate anything out of a hundred?... if it's perfect, does that rate a hundred?...so know that I was truly touched, not offended in any way, shape of form... has it been that long? you should know my cheeky side by now. xx

Yeah, it's been that long since we were around each like we were on the other site and it;s hard to get someone's "meaning" when it's "keyed" in or typed. You have to be so careful that it doesn't lose it's context cause I was thinking, "He just took the warm and fuzzy right out of this piece". Like I probably need to clarify (as I speaking) the description notes before anyone gets any funny ideas right now. You made me nervous for a minute...I was like, "Where is the love in this room"? lol as for the rating system...I'm still figuring that out myself. If you learn before I do please clue me in. Whew, thanks love for taking the time to explain yourself, nice to know you haven't changed :)

Change? cause' I've changed... I met you and you broadened my horizons... expanded my projection... gave me your truth...and yes, I realize I need to be careful to losing the real meaning of what I am trying to convey... I'm thinking, it just like if I was in the room with you and havin a good ol' chin wag... I guess that doesn't always translate the same on screen, I'll try to convey my sick humor a little better in the future... so you know I have a big smile on my face now... right?
