I owe I

I owe I

A Poem by Shirlena
"

the "I's" have it

"

yes...having yielded contrarily

ignored streets whistling first born ambition

yes must be a reckoning

biographical submission

freeze sets in...naked selfishness

purchaser... obeisance to none other mortal

minutes approaching where

I am owing to I

This is a good concept, a fragment that could be continued, no?

The naked selfishness seeks expression.

I might do an I owe I too and thanks for the selfishness and the pretty review :).
And thus we owe it to our selves to be larger than life itself: I was inspired to write this tiny gift poem for you:

Debt

I’m a treasure chest of wealth.
The more I spend, the more I owe
to that person I call self.
The more I reap, the more I sow.

You're welcome!
"freeze sets in...naked selfishness

I feel as if you are a psychologist dissecting the human psyche so well. The three levels. The selfishness of the I. The possession of the I to the I. The contrast between born with ambitions or self-made ambitions. Excellent...:)..............
