minus one...heart grows a tree

minus one...heart grows a tree

A Poem by Shirlena
"

the one, the only

"

the momentary prophetess as I turn away…

hips pendulum waves a blues

never been played

with you pulsating spectator

wide as any stretch of motherlands

 ambrosial dust teases palate

 scrambling grasp on reality

uncertain of exiting or creating an entrance

senses depart physicality

agitating sudden ignorance

surrounding smoke of denial

battling gravitational pull with fever

emotions trump all resoundingly…

intricate conversation persist

within psyche

scribing without an instrument

drawing utterances that fall

scatter pleasantly about the stance as seedlings

taking to root and stem mingling innermost parts

a message inserts to compliment your crest interpreting...

it is

 I

first

 decorating you

The first 2 stanzas are perfect, then it feels like you came back to the poem to continue it, I will coin a phrase that sums up your style:

"urgency in sweet ambiguity", anyway this one is VERY good. It's a synthesis of feeling and experience. I want you to enter this one to the festival.

I read this as the movement and responses to poetry. Of course I'm not feeling my best, so I could be reading from a feverish point of view, either way, you always set my mind adrift to ponder, always a good thing.

The title helped me understand this one more than any other part. I really like your word usage here, it's very vivid and exciting. Good job! :)
