all that sparkles…ain’t twenty twin twin

all that sparkles…ain’t twenty twin twin

A Poem by Shirlena
"

to all former ace sisters who side stepped my generositynot realizing the lalique they chose to thrust over mezzanine dash onto pavement, shattered by the sound of finality... and it's oks

"

had you

displayed adornment as icing upon my wrist

as a true co-hart

got you.. supportive before giving me your back

while gist of me still pouring

privy of unadulterated conference at one time freely

devotion not openly divvied to any god forsaken… somebody

chosen entity you had to be for such caliber of emotion

yes that’s it….friendship a bottle of uppity wine

left in polished cabinets for only the hand-picked divine which

insistent upon by you was the mold

I tipped

I bended even creased at the edges

eventually proving efforts worth a penny's glow

now...I know

forcing act of closing doors

wavering on what was hoped an antique angle

posed as an ally…no such thing

as plastic as the bangle replacing former shine

hanging present on my arm

had you

once held you…

wish the ultimate  finds your way

You have shared a caliber of emotions and former shining friends of yours. I feel the replacement here and the moving on. I hope those closing doors willl give way to multitude of more...A wonderful write...:).....................
