Nile of intimate contemplation

Nile of intimate contemplation

A Poem by Shirlena

meditating

reconsideration glistens

instead of throwing each other into pessimistic waters

must have something unique among dampened love never revived

deciphering is pure rush…  why simply drown away

escaping bits of oxygen…forgettable things airborne

watching as touches become invisible

compromise reduces in supply

it should be worthy holding onto hues

bubbles soon evaporating

unerring sparkle in café branded eyes

impossible to reverse lost slivers of regret along the streams

so they pledge to stay…sharing something undeniable

must be the anticipation

canoes sailing Niles of intimacy… clinging

unable to depart from having

excited emotions virtuously unquenchable

This is totally different, and full of rich imagery. A clever write.

i have felt like Cleopatra sailing down the great Nile and her lovers composing poetry and songs for her. We cling to things the most when we are about to lose them but if we love them we give them away in love...Excellent...:)..................
