Anger Rising

Anger Rising

A Poem by Shiningdarkmoon

There is much to see in this world,
But so very little of it is of interest,
I can see them now,
Laughing, playing, living,
And I despise every one of them,

The light shines across the afternoon sky,
Shadows surround and comfort me in my room,
I hear a joyous celebration outside,
I see happy people outside my window,
It all makes me sick to stomach,

The people cry tears of joy,
I cry tears of sorrow,
I can’t control it any longer,
The tension is too great,
Now I can’t wait for the day,
Where my mind is going to break.
