A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way

I know that some people are being bullied in their schools. This is showing respect and kindness for those who have suffered through bullying.

One day, I was walking home from school

And I saw something happening not so cool

Two boys were bullying someone much smaller

And rustling him around by his collar

They were finally done with him and pushed him away

And the boy just sat there in dismay

He started bawling in the gutter

And said that they made fun of him for his stutter

I walked toward him with comforting thoughts

Calmed him down and kept him from being cross

He finally stopped crying and explained what happened

And he soon gladdened

When people are being bullied

It gets them in a gully

Of despair and sadness

Which you can turn to gladness

You can keep someone’s day from being gray

A little kindness goes a long way
