                                   Glory Night: HELL

You desperately drift through the deeps of the woods, sounds of crickets, humming night bird, and other unknown creature of the night playing orchestral music at its sound of nature. The moon dimly lit the whole forest, enough to see the grassy ground. Your fear now is obsolete; the pressure is rising beyond the expectation. Heart beat rising as you try to escape from the absolute danger; catching up so quickly that make you leap your feet without thinking where to head for.  The darkness of night makes the scenery suspiciously horrifying, the branches that overlap the path, blocking each hidden pluck of horror. Gasping, breathing in and out, the air is humid, and eerie. Fireflies started to appear, air starts to become even thicker then the large drops fell from treetops, hammering huge at your back, the rain start. You slow down to rest and also to observe the surroundings, the ambiance of the place make you shudder. But  can’t compare to what’s coming after you, you’re bare feet continue to step with your whole effort just to escape, hands attacked the wet hanging vines, slapping them out your way, as you dodge every thick tree trunks, exposed roots. You had to escape no matter what, so you continue to navigate the unknown trail of the forest.  Every seconds matter the shadows grew darker, forming an inevitable darkness that would envelope the unknown terrain you’re stepping in. moon hide its light; retreating from the shadows. With help of your senses you needn’t worry what is beyond. Now you’re the only one can decide which way you can take.

At your slow pace, make think clear and focus, you heard the movement behind, misjudging your pursuer’s speed.” Impossible” you thought “how could that thing caught up so fast?” So you forced your eyes to adjust to the dark and willed your leg to move faster; your strength is at its brink of loss, how much could you maintain this speed?  You had to come up a plan and escaped this terror behind you. As you grasp and staggering through the woods you notice the lights from a far. You shook for a moment. Suddenly flashes of movement on either side of you. The forest playing trick, is only you or the danger caught up? The shadow appeared at the dark, with its menacing yellowish glow of its eye, you hurdled and climb over a half-rotted tree stump. The eye vanish but your senses didn’t allow you feel at ease, as your ears guide you where’s coming from. Whatever it is, it had caught up. You carefully crouch to fetch something on the ground, and you manage to fetch a rock and a stick. At that times, it sounded that the beast back-off, but the other times he feel it either on his back side or left side. Nothing in this planet animal or humans can move that way.

Tears flowing freely from your eyes as the worries explode to fear, no matter what you do that thing caught up. Muffled cries escaped between your breaths and heart thumping so fast. . How come this thing don’t attack when it is so close, it made sense that thing toying with you, choosing to extend the chase, you tried to willed your legs but it seems they cannot perform any further it was  toying with you.  So desperately stroke your stick up and down, right and left, a clumsy movement that even a little child can perform.  You throw the rock at the left side of yours, making a rattling sounds mimicking the movement of someone strangled at the hanging vines and overlapping branches. It was a breath taking moment that gives you a glimpse of hope, you imagine reaching a nearby village as you see small glimmering lights as you strode slowly, carefully not to create any rattling movement. You manage to reach a hanging bridge at the other side is a town full of lights. Standing at the edge of the bridge you mesmerized how your thoughts came true.  Forgotten how that thing chasing after you. Your eyes blur as your head detached from your body. Blood splattered like a rain, claws painted red, the ground flooded and greenery turns to black and red. The growl echoed in the town. The wrenching night has begun.
