Chapter 7: Shadow....?

Hehehe. I'm not gonna tell ya what's it's about. Not like I do anyways. Enjoy. Btw I'm a disclaimer. Nintendo owns it all otherwise I'd be rich and living on a cute little island, with a huge mansion.

"No. I am not singing." I raised an eyebrow when the boy in purple said those words.

"Oh?" I say taunting him.

"No I'm not singing."

"Yeah, you shouldn't. I've heard you sing before and you suck." Blue said catching my idea. Our eyes meet for one second. I smirk. Then in a flash it's gone.

"Oh, and when was that?" Vio had Blue there.

"Do you really want want me tell you?" Blue said with an evil look in his eyes.

"Um...." Vio hestitated looking at the look in Blue's eyes. "Not really anymore."

"Sing. Now." I commanded.

"No. And you can't make me." Vio argued back.

'Hmm... Oh crap! The only way to get him to sing is to...' I thought frusturated then spoke "I'll make you a deal."

"Continue."

"If you sing I'll ..... um....."

"You'll what?"

'Oh goddesses! Why did I open my mouth?'

"I'll umm..." Vio just got a mishcivous look in his eye. 'What the hell does he want me to do?'

"What?"

"I don't know! What do you want me to do?!"

"Hmm....." he pretended (1) to concentrate.

"Oh goddesses! Just tell me."

"If I sing, you have to kiss me."

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Your serious?"

"Yup. As serious as I'll ever be."

I looked at Blue. He was grinning like a fool. 'Oh, I'm gonna beat the crap out of Blue!'

"I hate you, but fine. I'll do it."

Vio walked up to the stage with a smile of victory. The music turned on and we cracked up as he stuttered with the rap:

A-at home sitting in my favorite nook
My girl is trying to get me to
Eat some dinner she cooked
I am reading a book girl
I am reading a book

Vio stopped, took a deep breath and said "Start the song over."

So our jaws dropped when Vio actually got it:

We all gasped as a shadow figure came out from behind Vio and started singing:

Vio gasped when he turned around and saw the shadow figure, but they both continued singing and dancing:

Where they call me a crook
I never even pay for my library books
I take them from the shelf
And if anyone looks I say

We all laughed and the two boys were laughing as they walked off the stage. They came over to us.

Then out of now where Red ran up and hugged the boy as Green and Blue were talking in a hushed whisper.

"And who might this pretty young lady be?" the purple haired boy said to Vio while gesturing to me.

"Why don't you ask her yourself?" I said to the purple haired shadow figure.

He laughed and turned to me "Okay, then. Who might you be?"

"I am Alia. A shadow. Like yourself." I replied.

"Oh, so you noticed? I'm Shadow. And as you said I am a shadow like yourself." he chuckled. He stuck out his hand. I shook it.

All of a sudden everything started to spin. "Why is the room spinning?"

"Alia are you okay?" a concerned voice asked.

"Yeah.... Actaully could I have some one's shoulder to lean on?" I asked as the room started to spin faster.

"Sure." I heard a voice say as an arm made it's way around my shoulder.

I started to shake as I saw memories.

A servant walked in with the child in her arms. The child was sound asleep.

The little boy in the room got excited when he saw the young girl. They were toddlers.

"Is she friend?" the little boy asked his master, Ganondorf.

"Yes. You could say that." the evil lord replied.

"Yay!" the little boy was surely excited.

*Shift Year*

"Come on slowpoke!" the young nine year old girl yelled to her life long friend.

"Alia, I'd rather be a slow poke than a lazy bones!" he yelled back to her, pinic basket swinging at his side as he ran farther into the field.

"I am not lazy! You just wouldn't let me carry anything!" she yelled to the ten year old boy.

"Whatever!" he yelled in response.

After a little bit of running they reached their destination, the center of the beautiful dark field.

The young boy spread out a blanket for them to have a picnic on. They both sat down.

"Hey, Alia?"

"Yeah, Shadow?"

"Do you know what day it is today?"

"Um... No. Why?"

"Because today is the anniversary of the day we first met."

"Oh my goddesses! I totally forgot!"

"I don't care. As long as one of us remembers."

She smiled. "Do you know you how much you rock?"

"Yep."

They both laughed.

*Shift Year*

"Promise?"

"I promise."

"Okay, but you better be back before our friendship anniversary." the ten year old girl said sternly to her best friend.

"Okay. I promise." the eleven year old boy said. "I gotta go... Goodbye Alia."

"There's no need to say goodbye because your just coming back... But I will just in case. Bye Shadow. I'll miss you.... I love you."

"I love you too Alia."

The young girl allowed a single tear to roll down her cheek as she watched the boy walk away.

The boy walked into the evil King's chambers.

"Sit my boy." the king spoke to the preteen boy.

"Okay..." so the boy sat in a nearby chair.

Then in a split second he was holding his head almost screaming in agony. It went on like this for several minutes until next thing he knew all his memories were gone. Just gone and he only remembered two things 1. Ganondorf is his master and 2. His mission.

*Shift Year*

Today... Today was their friendship anniversary. Where was he? Was he- No! She couldn't think that why he can't be dead. He just can't.

She sobbed into the black pinic blanket they had used couple years before.

"Is he really..... Dead? Is my true love dead? Is my best friend dead?" she whispered into the blanket as I felt my body collapse.

Tears streamed down her face as the evil lord placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him with a little bit of hope.

"Is he... You know... Dead?" she asked depressed.

He nodded sadly and lead her into the castle. Everything faded and I passed out.

____Shadow____

Alia had already passed out, but unlucky for me I hadn't. And I am on my knees and I am seeing memories.

"Come you slowpoke! Catch up!" a nine year old girl yelled to her best friend as she ran into the field.

"Well, Alia I'd rather be a slowpoke than a lazy butt!" the ten year old boy yelled back to her.

"I'm not a lazy butt! You wouldn't let me carry thing except the blanket!" she yelled as she reached the center of the field.

The purple haired boy set the stuff down when he reached her and helped her spread out the blanket. The both sat down.

"Hey, Alia?"

"Yeah, Shadow?"

"Do you know what day it is today?"

"Umm.... No. Why?"

"Beacause today is our friendship anniversary. Seven years ago we met. Can you believe it? It's been seven years."

"Yeah, seven years already? You must be old!"

"Yeah it's been seven years already. And if I'm old your old toο!"

"Oh, yeah? I'll show you old!" the girl tackled the older boy.

*Year Shift*

"Promise?" the ten year old girl asked sadly.

"I promise."

"Okay, but, you have to be home by our friendship anniversary. Next year."

"Alia, I'm gonna miss you." the elven year old boy said to the girl sadly.

"I'm gonna miss you too. And... Shadow... I love you."

"I love you too Alia. I gotta go. So I guess this is goodbye for now. Goodbye Alia."

"There isn't a need to say goodbye if just gonna come back." he frowned at this "But I will just in case. Goodbye Shadow."

A tear rolled down her smooth cheek as he walked down the hall way.

The boy went to the king's chambers. And sat in a chair as he was to do and cried out in agony. After several minutes all he could remember was 1. Ganondorf was his master and 2. His mission (2).

*Shift Year*

I am aware I am being picked up as another memory comes.

"Today.... Today was... Our nineth friendship anniversary. Where could he be? Could he be... Dead?" the young eleven year old girl was talking to her self.

"No! I can't think like that!"

She started to sob into the the black blanket they had used two years ago.

She thought about all the times they had had together. That just made her sob harder.

She felt a strong hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see the figure. It was Lord Ganondorf. Hope glimmered in her eyes.

"Is he alive?"

The evil lord shook his head. And led the sobbing girl into the castle.

I slipped out of consciousness.

Sorry for the typos and such. I was rocking out on music then I wrote this. Anyways, hope ya liked it. Btw Shadow's vision is only different because he gets a clearer sight to them.
