Chapter 6: Vistors

I grin at Skyler who's asleep. 'Wow... That's so kind of her. Rose is most likely in class getting our homework.' I chuckled at the thought.

I glanced at the foot of the bed. There are cards and all sorts of candy. I reached for a box of every flavor beans. I winced in pain.

Skyler woke up and said as she yawned "Here let me."

I nodded a layed back down. Skyler stood up and grab the box and handed it to me.

There was a moment when our hands touched. I blushed. She did also.

"So how are you feeling?" Skyler asked interrupting the awkward silence.

"Well... How do I put it? ..... I feel like a dragon chewed me up and spit me out. To put on the positive side."

Skyler laughed. 'I love her laugh.' I thought as she said "It could be worse." We both laughed not noticing my mom walk in.

"Albus honey how are you feeling?" I sat up winced and saw my mother.

I looked at Skyler. She looked at me. She understood my message and nodded. "Well he just said and I quote 'I feel like a dragon chewed me up and spit me out. To put it on the positive side.'"

Mom laughed "Al must you exaggerate? And who's your friend sweetheart?"

"Mom! Not in front of my friends!"

Skyler just laughed and stuck out her hand "I'm Skyler. Nice to meet you."

My shook Skyler's hand and turned to me "Albus your father wanted me to give you this." Mom handed me a package.

"Thanks Mom. Oh yeah I just remembered something I wanted to asked you." I said as I popped an every flavor bean into my mouth.

"Yes go on." my mom said curiously.

"Be right back." Skyler said randomly.

I nodded and said "Well Mom, Skyler doesn't have a place to go for Chirstmas. So. I was thinking she could stay with us?"

"Well what happened to her parents?"

"They died two weeks before she came. During those two weeks she was staying with the Longbottoms."

"Alright she can stay with us but it will most likely be with your cousin okay dear?"

I nodded as I popped a cherry every flavor bean in my mouth. Then I gagged. "Ugh. Hotsauce flavored. Oh hi Katie." I smiled at my cousin.

Katie giggled from the look on my face. She took one of the beans and popped in her mouth. "Yuck! Booger flavor."

My mom and I laughed. "That hilarious Katie." I said while laughing.

Fred and George walked into the room along with James. "What do you got there Al?" James asked poking his nose in my business.

"Pa-" I burst into coughing fit. My eyes slammed shut. I heard footsteps come in the room. I'm starting to get dizzy because I've been coughing for minutes. Then everything went black as I felt Skyler's soft skin touch my arm.
