Remaining Open

Remaining Open

A Poem by Shidare
"

Flowers greet the Day's sun to close in Grief at Night. Let us remain open through dark times in Faith of God's Presence.

"
The points of a bloom bear no coincidence
That they were to follow a star
A kinsman shape in the Sky
Mirroring their pledge within a seed
They bear a likeness to the Day's shining eye
Yet so quickly they close themselves off
When Sunset has vanished their bliss
Moon cannot bring them Solace
No starry visions assuage
But me being made in Your Image
Can I remain open for You?
