The Crystal Thing

The Crystal Thing

A Poem by Sherwette

If you asked about the crystal thing
That I think
I will only think about the crystal sand
That made us think how much of it is left
And how much will it last

We have too little of it
We can't blend, brittle a bit and sometimes bend

We have too much of it
We can't stand

If you asked about the crystal thing
I will only say the sand
With enough of it
A bright light will have the upper hand

This had a great rythm to it. The spacing gave it breathing space. I enjoyed this. Thanks.
