The Wheel RolledA Poem by SherwetteThe wheel rolled For the first time, it was so fast, so exciting And when it crashed, it wasn’t so good It was haunting, it lasted for long For the second time, it rolled even faster The wheel was excited for the thrill It wanted to roll till it flies above the ground It crashed It wasn’t haunting this time It was slaughtered For the third time, it didn’t want to roll The wheel placed that rock upfront A stranger came by to push it for another roll To feel the thrill The wheel resisted
