I Barely Met You

I Barely Met You

A Poem by Sherwette

I barely met you

I rarely let you

To show me the light

I was afraid of what have might

But if you ask this moment

I could take a bullet

I am ready for the fight

It wouldn’t be the same

Or else I would be insane

I learned from my mistake

Being too scared to undertake

When I rarely let you

Because I barely met you

Good poem. It was interesting. I liked how you started and ended the poem with the same lines. Thanks for sharing.
