My Deepest Pain

My Deepest Pain

A Poem by Still Hidden
"

When you try to fool your heart into believing that you are in control....

"
My greatest fear now is to find out that the truth I have believed in for so long, is no longer.
The words are in front of me in black and white,
but I am blind to the ink.

How many times does the word stop have to appear before I slow down?

My brake is broken because my love is strong.
My eyes are blind because my fears are real.

For if I find the truth, my heart will crumble and I will fade.
It's getting hard to wake up in the morning, my head is spinning constantly.
Only emptiness remains. It replaces all the pain.

I want myself back, the person I am on the inside.
The one you first fell in love with.
She is lost inside of you and only you can retrieve her.
